Biography

My path

Portrait of Alexandra Perissinotto

For eighteen years I've been supporting people and organisations through small and large changes: when dynamics get complicated, and when it's time to grow.

My path started far from here: a law degree, a PhD in the history and doctrine of institutions, a few years as a lawyer between Milan and Bolzano. Then came mediation and conflict management — the choice that changed everything, leading me into the world of people development: first as a trainer, then as an independent consultant in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Brazil, and finally as Head of People & Culture Development at an international company.

I grew up between two cultures — Italian and German — and I'm bilingual: an experience that has made it natural for me to move between different worlds, and one I now bring into my work on diversity, inclusion and neurodivergence.

In my work I favour a systemic approach, and I believe you never stop learning. Constantly engaging with new organisational realities, exploring their differences and similarities, has enriched my experience and sharpened my ability to read the bigger picture, connecting the dots between an organisation's different levels. This is the outlook I bring to every project, whether it's a leadership journey, a struggling team, a mediation, or a table to facilitate.

Today I work again as an independent professional, by choice: because to accompany others well on their journey, it's essential to live your own well.

Some of the organisations I've worked with: Philip Morris, Lidl, Vodafone, IDM, ENI Deutschland, Exxon Mobil, Athesia, HDS, Unifix, the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Novacella Abbey, and Dr. Schär.
